Cheerleadering Camp A Success!
Girls Ages 12-18 Preparing for Season
The Home School Saints Cheerleading Squad is for girls ages 12-18. The squad gathered on August 1-2 to kick off the 2014 season.
The Cheer squad practices at the same times and place as the football team. Cheerleaders cheer at the Home School Saints home football games and occasional away games. The squad is uniformed with hairbow, top and bottom uniform and two pom poms. Participants are responsible for shoes and biker shorts.
There is a mix of returning cheerleaders and girls new to the program. The camp was a great refresher of past cheers. It was also a great way to make new friends. The girls learned the squad prayer and some of the new team cheers.
Who leads Cheer Camp?
Local college cheerleaders lead the squad through the basics of cheering, team spirit, cheer prayer and teambuilding.
